The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is inviting nominations from Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to join in as a collaborator for conducting national and international hackathons under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. MIC and AICTE through its various initiatives have created a solid foundation for the technical and innovation ecosystem across various HEIs. The idea is to take it up as a challenging mission that is necessary and vital for our youthful Nation for making students at various levels self-confident, self-dependent and self-actualized by offering them specialized activities, modules and opportunities which will empower them in cognitive or non-cognitive life skills.

The past four editions of Smart India Hackathons have displayed the power of Open Innovation Model along with International hackathon like Singapore India hackathon, that provided a platform for our students to collaborate and have international exposure. Considering the ever growing traction a need has been felt to strengthen various stakeholders in the ecosystem so as to make this a meaningful and sustainable model.

Therefore, we are inviting HEIs to join in as a collaborator and work hand in hand with various hackathon initiatives of MIC and AICTE.
