Prof. (Dr.) Abha Singh is Director IILM Center for Emotional Intelligence and Professor Psychology and Behavioural Science. Her Ph.D. topic was "Personal Effectiveness and Organizational Ethos as Predictors of Organizational Commitment" from Lucknow University, India, for which she was awarded Gold Medal for Best PhD thesis.
Prof. Singh has more than 24 years of professional experience in teaching, training, research, psychometric testing, academic administration and approximately 45 National and International Publications as author and co-author and researches in the fields of Psychology, Management, Organizational Psychology, Behavioural Science, Positive Indigenous, Psychology and Yoga. She is a trained Professional Psychologist and has conducted more than 120 Behavioural Skills Training Programmes for more than 6,000 people in the area of Self Awareness, Empowerment, Positive Attitude, Conflict Management, Leadership, Personality Enhancement, Interpersonal Skills, Effective Communication skills, Emotional Intelligence, Building Assertiveness, Stress Management, Team Building, Parenting Skills, Managing Self, Psychometric Testing etc. for companies like IBM, HP, Motherson, GAIL, Indian Airlines, NTPC, NHPC, Xansa, IFFCO to name few. She has alsoconducted Training Programmes for approx. 52,415 Police Personnel for Behavioral Skills and Personality Enhancement Programme for Delhi, UP & Rajasthan Police comprising of newly recruits of Police Training College. She has Provided Consultancy on Psychometric Tests for Pharmecia India Pvt. Ltd., for the selection of candidates for Asst. Divisional Manager and Regional Sales Trainer.She has conducted Career Testing & Counselling Project for more than 6000 Class Xth Students of Amity International Schools (Delhi & NCR) since 2011. She has authored book on "Behavioural Science: Achieving Behavioural Excellence for Success" by Wiley Publications.
Completed and submitted a funded research project on the topic 'Emotional Expression as a Predictor of Psychological Well Being: A study of NCR University Students' to Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), Govt. of India. Also, completed an international collaborative research project with Queensland University, Australia on 'Triple P Program' (Positive Parenting Program) to study Indian Parents. She has been Honoured with "Ambassador for Peace Award" at the International Leadership Conference, Seoul Korea in October, 2007 by "Universal Peace Federation" (An NGO in Consultative Status in the Social & Economic Council of UN). Recently she was awarded with "Peace Maker Award, 2017" on the occasion of International Peace Day on 21st September, 2017 by Global Peace & Prosperity Initiative, USA.

She has done her doctoral research from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi on the topic 'Impact of Employee Social Intelligence and Collective Efficacy on Managing Organizational Change'. She has few publications to her credit in peer reviewed international journals in the area of social intelligence. She is a Research Associate at IILM Center for Emotional Intelligence (IILMCEI). Her role includes Research, Assessments, Data Analysis, and Formulation of Workshops & need based customized Emotional Intelligence Trainings, that helps to educate and train people to develop and apply Emotional Intelligence in everyday life. She holds degree in M.Phil. Counseling Psychology from Amity University, Noida, M.A Applied Psychology from Delhi University, South Campus and B.A (Hons.) in Applied Psychology. She recently completed M.Phil. Thesis on "Life Experiences among Young Indian Women: Emotional Expression through performance of EI", with focus on Social Influences in expression of emotions. She used unique technique of "Life Graph Exercise" as one of thequalitative methods for data collection for her thesis. She hopes to pursue her Ph.D. in Social Psychology, with research interest in social, emotional and mental wellbeing among Indian women. Currently she is focusing on strategic development and research protocols on Emotional Intelligence. She aims to create awareness about Emotional and Social Intelligence in the society at large.
