Summer Internship 2007 - 09

 

The Summer Internship Programme at IILM this year bought a plethora of Corporates across a diverse range of Sectors. 210 companies have offered projects to the aspiring Management Graduates from IILM, Institute of Higher Education.

 
The strength of the Summer Internship Programme has been the variety of sectors that the students have been placed in. This year the Sectoral recruitments in the Consultancy Sector were 6% with Banks and Financial Services taking 38% of our students. Media took 5% Retail and Real Estate constituted 3% with Hospitality at 1%. Trading, Automobile and Manufacturing also received 12% of the pie. The internships in the IT, Telecom and ITeS sector showed a figure of 11%. The FMCG Sector along with Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Durables were able to attract 15% of the talent on Campus.6% of the Students decided to try their hand at Insurance and 3% went for Internships in the PSU sector.
