IILM Business Plan Competition - PIONEER 2011-12

IILM Business Plan Competition: PIONEER 2011-12, an initiative of IILM Knowledge Center for the students of all the four IILM campuses (Lodhi Road, Gurgaon, IGSM & CMS Greater Noida).The objective of this business plan competition was to provide a platform to undergraduate and postgraduate students of Management to promote and develop their entrepreneurial skills.

The event was hosted by IILM- IGSM Greater Noida on 15th April 2011which was well attended by large and appreciative audience. A formal on-line registration process was followed for the submission of synopsis of Business Proposal.

After initial screening of the synopsis of all the proposals, shortlisted teams made the final presentations of their business proposals before the panel of Industry Experts, comprising:

1. Mr Harbinder Narula: Vice President / Head : Operator Business and Content Buongiorno
2. Mr Anil Srivastava : CEO & Director at Global Economic Advantage Pvt Ltd.
3. Ms Shweta Batra : Founder and Director of Click Perfect.com

Results and Awards:

Winning team from IILM Lodhi road comprising 4 members-Vaibhav Gupta, Tarun Batra, Rahul Dua, Sridhar Chandrasekharan : The concept presented and best adjudged by panel of experts was of Powernap stations which can come really handy, as people can catch a quick nap, given the current system which witnesses continuous delay in transport services such as Railways, Airports and buses. The winning team was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 10,000/- and certificate of appreciation.

Ist Runner up from IILM IGSM comprising 2 members -Rajdeep Sarkar and Arunangshu Pal: The concept AIETEE was availing food at the doorstep of customers. It’s availing the service at the right time to the right people at the right place for making them taste the tasty. The plan is with the core aphorism to alter the process of restaurants chains, generate a more organised manner of availing same food with better taste and in a better hygiene. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 5,000/- and certificate of appreciation.

IInd Runner up IILM IGSM comprising 2 members - Rohan Kapoor and Abhishek Vashisht: The concept was creating environment safe, disposable glasses of good quality and low prices. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2,500/- and certificate of appreciation.
