| Placement Procedure |

The Placements, both for final jobs, and Summer Internships is an integral part of any business school's annual calendar of activities. IILM also has a well laid-out and systematic process / organized system of dovetailing our students' career aspirations with corporates' expectations. The placement cell at IILM comprise of the Student Committee on Placements (SCoP) with 15 members from the first and the second year of PG programme and the Career Development Cell (CDC) represented by IILM faculty and industry professionals. The Placement Office headed by Head-Placements acts as central hub for all activities and is a repository of all information and resources.

Placement Process:

IILM's placement brochure detailing the programme structure and other programme attributes, along with student profiles is dispatched to a large number of business corporations to help these prospective employers develop a proper understanding of the institute, its programmes, the students;

These organizations are subsequently contacted to find out their campus recruitment plan for the year;
- Alternatively, the company can send a notification, via e-mail at
pgp.placements@iilm.edu
- Pre-Placement talks will be held at the Institute during which the companies make presentations about their operations and job profile etc.;

Students from the graduating batch, who have a best-fit, both attitudinally as well as skill-wise with the needs of the organization, and are interested in applying to them, are identified and their detailed resumes are forwarded to the companies for further processing;
- The final interviews are held at IILM campus or company location as the case may be;

Once the student receives an offer, she/he is not eligible to participate further in selection process through the institution. |
