A corporate Interaction was held on 23rd august 2007, where eminent people from the industry spoke about the concepts of entrepreneurship and the qualities an employee should have to grow within an organization or rather to grow with the organization. Mr P menon CEO optio Consulting Initiatives talked about the integration of the individual and organizational goals . Mr Gagandeep singh Sapra,CEO, System 3.net talked about the importance hard work in the life of a professional. Mr Sanjay Dayal, Dy GM HT Media ltd, pointed out that only good employees are assets of the organization and the employee has to strike a balance between long term and short term goal. Mr Saket Angarish, Branch Head, Met Life , pointed out that aligning oneself with the objective of the organization and the bosses is the Mantra of success. Mr Sanjeev Das, Training Manager Met Life, talked about his experiences and that a good employee should have integrity, hard work and competence to survive. Ms Gur Amrat Kaur, Strategic Planning Manager, Publicis India, talked about the identification of KRA's by an employee to be successful within the organization.
The Session was very ably moderated by Prof Akhil Swami and was of immense help to the students in terms of inculcating the right attitude to grow personally and professionally. |

IILM Undergraduate Business School would be holding a Counselors' Meet on 30th of August, 2007. The meet would be headed by Prof. Colin Neville (M.Ed., M.Phil, Dip.CG, Effective Learning Officer) has been associated with the University of Bradford since 1990. Apart from teaching under graduate students, he also organizes effective learning workshops, writes learning support material for staff & students & is a learning Area Manager for a national Centre of Teaching Excellence (CETL) project entitled the "Learn Higher" referencing national website. |

| IILM Undergraduate Business School Orientation Day Highlights |

3rd August 2007, Orientation Day marked a new beginning in the lives of the IILM Undergraduate Business School first year, first semester students, as they formally joined the IILM Undergraduate Business School . The Orientation Day program commenced with the registration of the students. As the registration formalities got over, the program formally began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chairperson Ms. Malvika Rai. The lighting of the lamp was aptly followed by invoking blessings from Goddess Saraswati. The Dean IILM Undergraduate Business School , Ms. Neeti Sanan welcomed the students and talked about importance of attending classes; working hard towards their career and making most of their stay at IILM Undergraduate Business School. Post her address, Ms Meena Bhatia Associate Dean IILM Undergraduate Business School , introduced the faculty members to the students. It was then time to share the functioning of the IILM Undergraduate Business School Program Office. Ms. Merlin Mythili, the Program Office In charge, familiarized the students to various issues such as courses offered, attendance requirements, intranet and so on, also reiterating the importance of attending classes and working hard. The students were also addressed by eminent speakers such as Ms. Pria Warrick of Warrick Finishing School and Mr. Dhruv Chak of Success Point, who would be sharing a few courses with them. Who could be better brand ambassadors than the Alumni. IILM Undergraduate Business School Alumni spoke to the students and shared their experiences and concluded the program. |

A brief and an insightful orientation program addressed parents as well. The Director -General of the Institute, Professor B. B. Bhattacharya addressed the parents where he emphasized the role of both the faculties and parents in educating a child. The Dean IILM Undergraduate Business School , Ms. Neeti Sanan also addressed the parents and familiarized them with the Institute. Finally, Ms. Meena Bhatia Associate Dean IILM Undergraduate Business School , introduced the faculty members to the parents who discussed the various modules and pedagogy. The program ended with an informal interaction between the faculty and parents over tea. |

| Undergraduate Business School Alumni Cricket Match |

On the very eventful morning of Sunday, 3rd June 2007, The IILM Undergraduate Business School Alumni Association welcomed its alumni back to campus for an enthralling Cricket match. The match received wide participation from across all batches. It was a twenty over Alumni XI Vs Alumni XI match. The two teams were lead by Abdullah Hameed and Sameer Kachru of the 2000 batch. Sameer Kachru's XI won the match and he was declared the man of the match. The Alumni enjoyed the experience to a great extent and have been playing every week to keep the momentum going. |
