| The program aims at : |

Enhancing student's understanding
of hospital and health Care issues and
administration.

Providing insight into functioning
of various departments in a health care organization
and linking it to management concepts and principles;

Developing skills and
competencies for effectively managing a hospital;

Enabling students to increase
their knowledge base and expertise and apply them to
their intended management roles;

Fostering development of student's
own personality, confidence and abilities as a
manager and a leader,

students to understand the concepts and techniques of
management as applicable to hospitals and health care
organizations

| Program Duration |

| This is 2
years full time regular post graduate program having 30 seats
only, started from 6th August 2007 at IILM New Delhi. The
Program entails 60 weeks of classroom training and 2 blocks
of hospital internship of 8 weeks and 28 weeks. |

Teaching Methodology
|
| |
IILM Institute's pedagogical approach to higher education expects students to take initiative in search of knowledge, hence making them think on issues outside the theoretical framework and encouraging them to construct their own bridge to tackle various real life problems. Classroom learning is highly participative and interactive involving case studies, simulations, exercises, individual and group presentations, role-plays, live projects, seminars by professionals from industry.

The teaching methodology is designed with a view to enhance decision making and administrative competence of practicing managers. Strong emphasis is also laid on building analytical capability among the students through participation in class discussions.

| Eligibility |
| |
| 3-years Bachelors Degree in Science, pharmacy, nursing, BDS or M.B.B.S from recognized university in any stream with minimum of 50% aggregate. Candidates who are in final year of graduation may also apply. |

| The certificate of Post Graduate Program in Hospital Administration (PGPHA) will be awarded jointly by IILM Institute for Higher Education and Max Healthcare. |
