Introduction
At IILM since the past 7 years, Yavar Ehsan is responsible for the IT operations as well as all Professional Services. Having been the IT Area Chair since several years he is in more of an advisory role in the Area.
Yavar Ehsan brings with him valuable industry experience from US while working there with various Multinational Corporations. He has held several vital MIS positions. While working for the Bonddesk Group he managed the design and development of client interfaces and reporting of live trading from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) for major traders like Wells Fargo, Pershing, ETrade, TD Waterhouse to name a few. While at Siemens, Mr. Ehsan was heading the administration of their primary application database as well as providing training and coaching sessions for their staff. As a project leader and developer for Tyco Electronics, Mr. Ehsan worked with the team responsible for the design and development of one of the backbone MIS applications of Tyco Electronics, currently being used by thousands of managers worldwide on their intranet.
During his professional career spanning about 17 years, Yavar Ehsan has been involved with academics in terms of teaching part-time at Temple University and Delaware County Community College in the US. Additionally as a consultant Mr. Ehsan has been involved with the development and implementation of numerous projects for various businesses and institutes.
