Introduction

Dr Surabhi had a brief stint with the corporate world at NIIT in 1993 and then moved to management education.

PGDBM – Institute for Management Technology ( IMT) , Ghaziabad

Phd – University of Allahabad, Allahabad

She has a teaching experience of more than 13 years has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate level of Management and was awarded doctorate in year 2000. She has taught modules in the Area of Marketing namely, Marketing Management , Consumer Behaviour , Market Strategy , Business Marketing , Services Marketing etc. She has interest in writing cases and has written cases on her area of interest which is consumer psychology and low cost market strategies. She has been with IILM for last 9 years and has concurrent experience of 8 years in academic administration.

•  Chapter Contribution in Case study book written by Prof B. Bhattacharyya , Former    Dean IIFT titled, ’ Case study on Low cost Airlines – The Air Deccan.’
•  Paper titled Broadband the Changing face of India, published in journal of Indian    Institute for Public Administration.
• Presented a paper titled Emergence and Sustenance of shopping malls at an International   Conference on Services management organized by IIMT, New Delhi.
• An article titled Generating and Managing Creativity in Management published in the    journal of IILM, Edge
• Case study on ‘Nano the smart car.’  under print in Management & Change , journal of    IILM.
