Introduction

Ms. Merlin Mythili has 9 years of work experience in Teaching and Research. Her research interests include Communication at Workplace, Gender studies and Cross cultural Management. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Gender patterns in Communication at Workplace..

  • Presented a paper titled,” Symbolic Icons of Empowerment: A Case Study on the Organisational Challenges that Ordinary Indian Women face in Unconventional Jobs” at the 27th Standing Conference on Organisational Symbolism conducted by Copenhagen Business School and Malmo University at Copenhagen and Malmo from 8th to 11th July, 2009..
  • Presented a paper titled “Role of Women in the Preservation and Advancement of Religion: A Historical Perspective” at a Seminar on “Women and Religion” conducted by Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeet, New Delhi, India on 26th & 27th February, 2009
  • Presented a paper titled “Managing Cultural Diversity at Workplace – An Indian Perspective” at the fourth AIMS International Conference on Management at IIM Indore, India held from 28th to 31st December, 2006.
  • Publishes a chapter titled “Cultural Diversity At Workplace: An HR Concern” in a book titled “Emerging Issues in HRM” published Excel Books, 2007.
