- 1991- US-Japan services trade: the anatomy of persistent American strength “Monograph no 2, United States–Japan programme, Princeton University. A popular version of this article was published in the Fortune magazine, Services 500 issue in 1990.
- December 8-9, 1995-“Economic crisis, momentary autonomy and policy reform: liberalization in India, 1991 –1995. Paper co– authored with Professor Ronald Herring and read at a two-day conference co-sponsored by the SSRC and Mac Arthur Foundation Program on International Peace and Security and Center of International Studies at Princeton University.
