Introduction

Ms Abha Sadana is Lecturer (Economics) in IILM with  more than 20 years of teaching experience
in various educational institutions and schools in Sweden, France and India. She has also been the Visiting Fellow in the International Institute for Educational Planning (UNESCO), Paris.  Currently
she is teaching Business Economics, Macro Economic Environment of Business and Economics of Industry to undergraduate students. Her research work involved a two year stint in the Institute of International Education in Stockholm while her Research Paper on “Development of Girls’ Education in India and Elimination of  Child labor (a case study of PRAYAS’s efforts in Delhi slums)  was accepted by the International Institute for Educational Planning (UNESCO) in 2001. Articles on topics like "Economic Impact of Delhi Metro" and "Twitter in the Tourism Industry", ‘Japan’s falling economy: Misfires, failed endeavours”have appeared in various publications.

 

Qualification and Experience

  • M.A. (Economics), Delhi University.
  • M.A. (History), Annamalai University.
  • Six month Course on “Strategic Issues in Educational Development” in the International Institute for Educational Planning, UNESCO, Paris.
  • Diploma in French, Alliance Françoise, New Delhi
  • DELF(I) in French, Paris

 

Some Selected Works

  • Research paper on 'Development of Girls’ Education in India and Elimination of Child labor (a case study of PRAYAS’s efforts in Delhi slums) which was accepted by the International Institute for Educational Planning (UNESCO) in 2001.
