Press Release - 4 December 2006 |
The Financial Times has today (Monday 4 December 2006) ranked Bradford University School of Management as second in the UK, equal to Cranfield and only beaten by London Business School, and ranked eighth in Europe. This is its highest ever ranking |
| |
|
The latest league table is for the overall European business school of the year, based on the combined results of five surveys in 2006 for business education, full time MBAs, customised executive education programmes, Masters degrees and executive MBAs. |
| |
This week the School is hosting an evening for business managers who want to know more about MBAs and the School at 6pm on Thursday 7 December at Bradford University School of Management. There will be a chance to meet current MBA students and alumni. |
| |
Professor Arthur Francis, Dean of the School, said: "This is tremendous recognition for the excellent work at Bradford. The FT ranking is based on a number of factors, including surveys of our alumni and monitoring how successful they are after they leave us in terms of salary increase and seniority of their jobs. |
| |
"Our programmes are well known for their mix of top academic teaching alongside very practical skills. Last year we also introduced personal development support to help managers make that leap into senior management with skills ranging from leadership to delegation. Our focus is to ensure our alumni are very employable." |
